Shubhi Publications is set to release Revolutionary Raj: 25 Years of Modi’s Rule, a substantial new political work by senior journalist and Padma Shri awardee Shri Alok Mehta, at the Constitution Club of India on 21 February at 3:30 PM. The book carries a foreword by Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah and presents a comprehensive assessment of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25-year journey in public life.
Positioned as both political documentation and analytical study, the book traces Modi’s evolution from a grassroots organiser to one of the most influential leaders in contemporary India. It examines his tenure as Chief Minister of Gujarat, highlighting administrative restructuring, investment-driven growth strategies and governance reforms that shaped his early executive profile. The narrative then moves to his years as Prime Minister, assessing major policy initiatives, economic reforms, welfare expansion programmes, infrastructure development, and efforts aimed at repositioning India on the global stage.
The author situates these developments within a broader political and ideological framework, exploring how electoral strategy, governance philosophy and institutional decision-making have contributed to what he characterises as a transformative phase in Indian politics. The book also reflects on shifts in public discourse, leadership style and the consolidation of political mandates over successive electoral cycles.
The launch is expected to draw senior political leaders, policymakers, scholars and members of the media, marking the release as a notable addition to contemporary literature on Indian leadership and governance in the 21st century.
