Harper Learning, an imprint of HarperCollins India, has launched Creating Classrooms Where Every Child Belongs, authored by award-winning educator Revathi Srinivasan. The book was launched by Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.

Drawing on real-life classroom experiences, the book explores how empathy, encouragement and inclusion can help children feel valued and reach their full potential. It highlights stories of students overcoming social bullying and a child with cerebral palsy adapting to a new school environment.

Written for teachers, parents and school leaders, the book emphasises the importance of creating learning spaces where every child feels accepted and supported. It also encourages a rethink of educational leadership, placing children’s experiences and sense of belonging at the centre of classroom learning.

Revathi Srinivasan is the director of Smt. Sulochanadevi Singhania School and group dean of Singhania Schools. With over three decades of experience in education, she has founded eleven schools and serves on advisory boards of government committees on school education in Maharashtra.

The book is published under Harper Learning, HarperCollins India’s imprint focused on education, learning and child development.
