Pan Macmillan India is set to bring out four new books this September, offering readers a diverse selection spanning historical fiction, mythology and folklore, spirituality and self-help, and history.
The September list opens with Travancore King: The Legend of Marthanda Varma by Shubendra, a work of historical fiction scheduled for release on 11 September. The paperback edition is priced at ₹450.
In the mythology and folklore category, Sree Sura: Demigoddess of Indian Myth and Folklore, edited by Koral Dasgupta, will be released on 10 September. The paperback is priced at ₹599.
The spirituality and self-help list includes You Are the Sky: An Ancient Guide to Modern Feelings by Swami Swaroopananda, Global Head of Chinmaya Mission. The book will be released on 20 September as a paperback and priced at ₹399.
Rounding off the list is historian John Zubrzycki’s The Shortest History of Delhi, scheduled for publication on 24 September. The paperback edition is priced at ₹599.
With subjects ranging from the legacy of Marthanda Varma and Indian mythology to emotional wellbeing and the rich history of Delhi, the new releases reflect a wide range of interests for readers this September.
